Celebrate Imbolc, the Celtic New Year, with a day immersed in ritual and ceremony to integrate and release the decay of winter and begin to imagine the fruits of spring.

tickets are 111€ inc tax or a sliding scale range

We celebrate Imbolc at this time because it is the midway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere. It’s a time to begin a very slow ascent towards spring and the more fertile seasons, whilst still very much inhabiting the decay of winter and the rot that goes back to fertilise the land for the next season of growth.

Psycho-somatically, it's the perfect moment to circle through the energy of winter and integrate the essential wisdom of the descent before touching into what wants to remain or be maintained, as well as imagining the future and new beginnings.

The ceremony opens with a deep somatic practice and meditation, followed by delicious lunch and then into an afternoon of mapping and visualising your own cycle of creativity. The day ends in somatic sound and all whole evening to indulge in UHU’s hand crafted sauna.

Spaces are limited to 20 so we have room to lounge and I encourage you whole heartedly not to miss it. book here

Grace Farmer

space holder + facilitator

My role for the Imbolc ceremony is to hold a deeply loving container for the entire day, that invites you down into the winter of your body. Charged by the energy of this particular time of year, I will guide you gradually towards connecting into spring and what is to come. Whether you’ve already mapped out your entire year, or you feel like you’ve been in deep hibernation for weeks, I offer you a space to work with the fullness of your experience and integrate the wisdom of mind, body and spirit.

I will be taking you through an activating and sensitive somatic practice intended to invigorate a state of awake relaxation and remind you of the interconnected nature of existence before you start making big plans for the year ahead. And I have invited two guest facilitators to support the day.

Malu Lopez

Interdisciplinary sound artist

I’ve invited Malu to bridge us from day into evening with her etherial vibrations in an immersive somatic sound journey. Malu is a beautifully talented sound artists with a powerfully authentic energy, she facilitates and guides a deeply charged and delicately held space and I’m so pleased she accepted my invitation to play for us.

Her concert will take us into the last part of the ceremony, an evening sweating and relaxing in UHU’s hand crafted Sauna.

Adri Lestyan

shedding + imagining journaling + visioning

I invited Adri because of her work in facilitating Cyclical Wisdom, and the recognition of the natural cycles of contraction and expansion in anything creative.

Since life is a creative process, we need to accept that it cannot and should not comprise of endless productivity, that would just be extraction. We need to respect the essential moments where things are slow, decaying and dying away, because they make way for the new potential of Spring. Culturally we are not very good at that, so suppoted by the energy of Imbolc, Adri will guide a session that works with the fullness of your cyclical wisdom and how to integrate it.

Through embodied journaling, mapping, and ceremonial intention-setting, this 2-hour session offers a held space to shed what no longer serves you and imagine what you wish to cultivate in the year ahead.
